I then checked both the Cubase 9 and 9.5 VST managers to make sure there was no sign of SD3 either in the authorised or blacklist sections. I then uninstalled the Superior Drummer 3 program and re-started the PC again. Having located them I erased them all and re-started the PC. I started by searching all my drives for every instance of the Superior Drummer 3.dll file. I had the same problem, but I had solved it by the time I read this and will use my method again when updating SD3 in future. Why does the Product Manager say everything is up-to-date and Ready To Use…. I have a deadline to meet and I’m now stuck with songs to work on and no drums! I have searched my machine but there is no other SD 3.dll. The date of the dll file did not change (25/09/17) When I check in Cubase it reports the previous version: 3.0.1. It appears that the SD3 dll did not update. I installed my SD3 on an external SSD drive which you can see in image Installation1png. All the indications from Product Manager report a fully working and updated SD3 version. Both downloaded and installed successfully. There were only two updates given, SD3 Upgrade and the Part 1 Basic Sound Library. When I investigate I see the message in attached file Error1.png. I let it guide me through the update and installation Now I can’t get SD3 to work at all. I updated my Superior Drummer 3.0 (SD3) to the latest version this morning using the Product Manager. :-/ The support is not back until Monday! :'( I am fuming! Mainly at myself I should have known better. I stupidly upgraded this morning! I’m in the middle of a two important mixes and now my drums have stopped working!!! Aarrgghh!!!
